Sewing Resilience: A Stitch At A Time

Amid life's twists and storms that roar,

I sought a way to mend and restore,

A friend inquired, their eyes sincere,

"How do you cope when troubles appear?"

"Distractions help," I softly said,

Mantras to guide me, keep me led,

"This too shall pass," I hold so tight,

Through darkened days, hope's gentle light.

"One day at a time," I embrace,

No need to rush, life's hectic race,

With patience and faith, hand in hand,

I conquer trials across the land.

The bad days fade, like shadows flee,

I've faced worse storms, and yet I see,

Within my soul, an unwavering flame,

An unyielding spirit, not the same.

Despair shall fade, strength will break free,

Embrace the power inside, agree,

Though storms may rage, and nights seem long,

Hope's guiding light keeps me strong.

Life's tapestry, we weave with care,

Threads of courage, lessons rare,

Together we journey, high and low,

Resilience blooms, a constant glow.

In adversity's art, we find our way,

Triumphing through darkness, come what may,

Through the tapestry of life we sway,

With resilience as our guiding ray.

The Fight Is Not Over Yet

I could hear my heart beating,
I feel the life running in my veins,
I might be weary and whacked;
But the fight is not over yet.

I understand it’s hurting a lot,
And I have to accept the pain,
But I have to get myself together,
As the fight is not over yet.

I see no soul till the end of the land,
I even lost my shadow someplace behind,
We have been in a war since I hit reality,
Still, the fight is not over yet.

I’m lost in this darkness all around,
Pulling me in an indefinite nothingness;
No ray of hope; but I have a light within,
'Coz the fight is not over yet.

My strength is dying and so might I,
But this courage is alive deep inside,
And I need to rise and strive till end;
As the fight is not over yet;
Nor have I won this battle hitherto.

It ain't all roses.

The sun shines bright, and then it sets,
The moon enlightens the night, but yes it fades,
This endless darkness I ought to fight,
It ain't all roses, it ain't all roses.

There's music in the air, and so is the noise,
It's about what you care, so make a good choice,
Life might fail in being fair,
It ain't all roses, it ain't all roses.

The emotional spectrum I feel, is like or shame,
Too contrast to deal, either pleasure or pain,
All extremes and no greys for a heal,
It ain't all roses, it ain't all roses.

This bridge we are walking on, may break with time,
As we tumble down, nothing left would be fine,
But I'll hold it together till the dawn,
It ain't all roses, it ain't all roses.

Hey listen, don't you fear; I can handle it all,
What we lost was so dear, but I survived the fall,
I stand where you left; yes right here,
It ain't all roses, it ain't all roses.

You Take Your Time

Hey dear love, I don't blame you,
I know, reasons to stay are really few;
But don't you worry, as I'm fine;
I'll wait for you; you can take your time.

I told you once, this is what I deserve,
You held my hand when I had lost my nerve;
When you left, I lost that strength divine;
I'll wait for you, you can take your time.

I won't ever ask that why did you leave,
I won't bother you ever, with my grief;
For me you're a star, you're meant to shine,
I'll wait for you, you can take your time.

I know you may never come back to me,
I know for ever I'm setting you free;
I'll sleep with the hope that you'll be mine,
And wait for you; you can take your time.

I can sense that time may never come,
As me and happiness are almost done,
Here is my soul, as I resign;
And wait till eternity, you take your time.

I Confess...

I know when you skipped
your heart beat, for a while,
As you believed in that silence,
I may throw a smile.

When I got myself hurt,
I could see you cry.
But you didn't let me give up,
And said, ''let us try.''

I always kept counting,
As my blessings were not few,
Oh good God made me know,
It was just one, and that was you.

That day I was upset,
When I called you and cried;
I still remember that snowfall,
When you walked my home that night.

I fought, I lied,
I shouted at you,
You hugged me and smiled,
Saying "I know you're true."

Mourning in darkness, I was waiting,
For the sun to shine bright,
You lit up in flames,
and gifted me the light.

You were always there, I knew,
My bad, I couldn't see you;
Now I confess you're an addiction
But the time asks me to free you.

Keep smiling

Keep smiling, as I love mysteries;
Then, look at me; make my heartbeats freeze.

Keep smiling, while on the sly you watch me,
Each time you do that; Yeah! I do see.

Keep smiling whenever your hand touches mine,
Just try those stars on your face do not shine.

Keep smiling, when for me you fall;
Trust me, I won’t judge that; No, Not at all.

Keep smiling whenever covetous, you be,
'Possessiveness, Protectiveness'; are words mere, for me.

Keep smiling while I hurt you bad;
Our eyes talk my love; they'll tell, "You're sad".

Keep smiling even if I am missed;
I know, you don't want to; still, try resist.

Keep smiling, even though I'm not around;
But handle your glittery eyes, the moment I'm found.

Keep smiling when you lie to the world;
Muddling up seriously; but oh! You're not in love.

Keep smiling with all your truth and lies;
Here, I submit; I confess, I love your smile.

So, keep smiling as you light up this town;
Don't stop, the darkness is melting down.

Keep smiling; when I want the sun shine bright;
Just blush along; and get me the twilight.

The Silence

How funny they think,
That you can’t hear a thing;
Even in complete absence of sound,
Trust me, the silence is freaking loud.

Let the silence speak,
And help the words, as they can’t;
Let the words stay in slumber,
Here the silence enchants.

There is a veracity in silence,
The poor words, do not unfold;
Written between the lines,
There are my enigmas untold.

I know we can connect
With silence the best,
It screams the truth, reliefs your blues,
And holds words I left unsaid.

While falling into knowing,
Listen the hearts beat;
In comfort between the words
Feel the pulse, as the souls breathe.

Give speech a break,
And let the silence fix;
Make the smile prostrate,
And surrender to our lips.

The spaces between these words and lines,
They may not seem so new;
but that is the silence through which,
It is me talking to you.
