Last night in my quiet lawn,
With silence all around and my music on;
The only thing I wanted then,
Was to sit in peace and stay alone.
With Boyce Avenue’s ‘A Thousand Years’,
And eyes struggling to shed few tears,
Sitting on a bench I dig in my heart,
What do I want; from where to start?
And then I felt a kiss on my cheek,
And wiping off the drop that was rolling down,
Nothing and no one was there around,
A soothing breeze was all I found.
So, with a quirky smile on my face,
I looked up high, and oh! At what I gaze!!
I wasn't alone with the breeze in the lawn,
But the sky as a shawl with diamonds on.
They were always there but I couldn't see
I found them on the verge of losing me,
Those stars kept staring me as I was someone new,
And I slept hugging the sky, saying ‘Facing You’…
