Hold Me

When I'm dejected and feeling low,
And chaos around has touched my soul;
When my heart is burdened and I'm still,
Hold me tight when I'm losing will.

Keep me safe, in your arms,
Stay with me, and keep me warm;
I wait in silence for you to hold,
Hold me tight, as I am cold.

Quench this longing, dull this ache,
Make me know this seizure is fake;
Let us sway and let us be,
Hold me tight, never let go of me.

I need some place to hide away,
And stay till it’s a warm bright day;
A year may go, A thousand may pass,
Hold me tight and make my lullaby last.

So let me fall in your arms today,
Let this cold I feel, melt away;
My weary heart beats so imperfectly,
Hold me tight, let me glimpse eternity.

With that caring smile, and dazzling eyes,
When you say, "it's okay." the agony flies;
Close this distance, I'll hear your beating heart,
Hold me tight and don't let me fall apart.

Hold me tight until forevermore,
Hold me tight with the love I adore.
Hold me, hold my faith and belief,
Hold me, till this life we leave.
