The Silence

How funny they think,
That you can’t hear a thing;
Even in complete absence of sound,
Trust me, the silence is freaking loud.

Let the silence speak,
And help the words, as they can’t;
Let the words stay in slumber,
Here the silence enchants.

There is a veracity in silence,
The poor words, do not unfold;
Written between the lines,
There are my enigmas untold.

I know we can connect
With silence the best,
It screams the truth, reliefs your blues,
And holds words I left unsaid.

While falling into knowing,
Listen the hearts beat;
In comfort between the words
Feel the pulse, as the souls breathe.

Give speech a break,
And let the silence fix;
Make the smile prostrate,
And surrender to our lips.

The spaces between these words and lines,
They may not seem so new;
but that is the silence through which,
It is me talking to you.
