It ain't all roses.

The sun shines bright, and then it sets,
The moon enlightens the night, but yes it fades,
This endless darkness I ought to fight,
It ain't all roses, it ain't all roses.

There's music in the air, and so is the noise,
It's about what you care, so make a good choice,
Life might fail in being fair,
It ain't all roses, it ain't all roses.

The emotional spectrum I feel, is like or shame,
Too contrast to deal, either pleasure or pain,
All extremes and no greys for a heal,
It ain't all roses, it ain't all roses.

This bridge we are walking on, may break with time,
As we tumble down, nothing left would be fine,
But I'll hold it together till the dawn,
It ain't all roses, it ain't all roses.

Hey listen, don't you fear; I can handle it all,
What we lost was so dear, but I survived the fall,
I stand where you left; yes right here,
It ain't all roses, it ain't all roses.
